Life-saving skills, taught free by certified professionals — and a community that showed up to learn them.
Medikhub was proud to be part of Together for Health 2026 at Cheras LeisureMall, where we ran free CPR and AED training and welcomed the public to our booth for live demonstrations and hands-on guidance. Here's a look back at the initiative — and how you can carry the same preparedness into your own home, workplace, or community.
What happened
Event: Free CPR + AED Training @ Together for Health 2026
Dates: 20 & 21 June 2026
Venue: LG Concourse, Cheras LeisureMall, Kuala Lumpur
Booth: MedikHub, Level 2
Over both days, members of the public — parents, students, employees, and community members — stepped up to learn skills that don't require a medical background, only the willingness to act.
What participants learned
Guided by certified professionals, attendees got hands-on with the essentials:
CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) — correct technique, practised on manikins
How to use an AED — following the device's simple voice and visual prompts
Responding in the critical first minutes of a cardiac emergency
At the Level 2 booth, visitors also explored AED solutions for homes, offices, and communities, watched live AED demonstrations, and got direct advice from our team on choosing and placing the right Mindray BeneHeart AED.
Why it matters
Sudden cardiac arrest gives no warning, and survival drops by roughly 7–10% for every minute defibrillation is delayed. An AED on-site, paired with someone confident enough to use it, is one of the most effective ways to change that outcome. Events like this exist to put those skills — and that confidence — into as many hands as possible.
